Established 1985...

Way back in 1989 whist working as a freelance cameraman at SKY TV in Isleworth, I came up with the idea of supplying camera channels to other freelance cameraman, this went on for a few years, then SKY TV technical manager asked me to supply a hand held camera for a new program called Soccer AM staring Tim Lovejoy and Helen Chamberlain, this was an additional camera in the car park for a game called spotlight with the football guests and pundits, I was that cameraman in the car park, I then invested in more equipment and made my first PPU, this was first used on TVS/Maridian Maggie Philbin cookery program and with more investment it was time to build my first OB truck, luck have it whilst working at ITN, I noticed and old London News Network Links truck languishing in the underground car park, I managed to buy the old Blue VW and got to work re-fitting it as a production OB van.
